THE FOLLOWING FISHING REPORTS ORIGINATED WITH WDFW AND ODFW

Preliminary Washington Tributary Sport Summary – April 27-May 3, 2026

Columbia River Tributaries

Salmon/Steelhead

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge downstream) — 134 bank anglers kept three Chinook, one jack, two steelhead and released one Chinook. 4 boats/5 rods kept one Chinook.

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge upstream) — 43 bank anglers kept three Chinook. No boat effort reported.

Kalama River — 36 bank anglers kept two Chinook. 49 boats/126 rods kept 17 Chinook and released two steelhead.

Lewis River — 43 bank anglers kept nine Chinook, one jack and released one Chinook. 36 boats/84 rods kept 43 Chinook, five jacks, one steelhead, and released one Chinook and one steelhead.

Wind River — Six bank anglers had no catch. 124 boats/352 rods kept 147 Chinook and released five Chinook.

Drano Lake — 101 bank anglers kept 16 Chinook and one steelhead. 177 boats/584 rods kept 401 Chinook and released four Chinook.

Klickitat River (below Fisher Hill Bridge) — One bank angler had no catch. No boat effort reported.
