Rewards Offered For Info On 2 Central Washington Wolf Poachings
Federal and state officials are offering $10,000 rewards for info on the poaching of a pair of Central Washington wolves earlier this fall.
One was found in central Klickitat County, the other in western Okanogan County.
Both were investigated by WDFW, according to Monday’s joint press release with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
The first animal is described as an adult male wolf and was discovered east of the Klickitat River near Highway 142 and the town of Goldendale. The case was investigated October 6.
On October 20, WDFW responded to the discovery of an adult female wolf southwest of Twisp.
There’s a $10,000 reward for info that leads to an arrest, criminal conviction or civil assessment in each case.
