Lower Columbia River, Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam — 229 salmonid boats and 130 Washington bank rods were tallied on the flight count Saturday, August 1.
Section 1 (Bonneville) — 14 bank anglers kept one Chinook and released one steelhead. 2 boats/6 rods had no catch.
Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — No bank effort reported. 8 boats/19 rods kept three Chinook.
Section 3 (I-5 Area) — No bank effort reported. 4 boats/6 rods had no catch.
Section 4 (Vancouver) — Six bank anglers had no catch. 16 boats/29 rods kept eight Chinook, one Chinook jack and released one Chinook jack.
Section 5 (Woodland) — 10 bank anglers had no catch. 13 boats/31 rods kept two Chinook.
Section 6 (Kalama) — 32 bank anglers kept six Chinook. 11 boats/20 rods kept one Chinook and released one coho jack.
