Columbia River and Tributary Fishery Reports
Mainstem Columbia River
Salmon/Steelhead:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 1 bank angler had no catch.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – No report.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) – No report.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 9 bank anglers released one Chinook adult. 10 boats/16 rods kept two Chinook adults and one jack.
Sec 5 (Woodland) – 21 bank anglers no catch.
Sec 6 (Kalama) – 41 bank anglers kept two Chinook adults. 4 boats/7 rods kept no catch.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – 1 boat/2 rods kept one Chinook adult.
Sec 8 (Longview) – 22 bank anglers kept one steelhead. 35 boats/67 rods kept 13 Chinook adults and two jacks.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – Five bank anglers had no catch.
Sec 10 (Cathlamet) – Two bank angler had no catch.
Shad:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 29 bank anglers kept 290 shad and 1 boat/3 rods kept 30 shad. Sec 6 (Kalama) – 1 boats/2 rods kept 20 shad and released 80 shad.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – 1 boats/2 rods kept 10 shad.
Columbia River Tributaries
Salmon/Steelhead:
Cowlitz River I-5 Br downstream – 66 bank rods released 1 Chinook adult. One boat/2 rods kept 2 Chinook adults and released 1 Chinook.
Cowlitz River Above the I-5 Br – 23 bank rods kept 3 Chinook adults. 3 boats/7 rods kept 1 Chinook jack and 2 steelhead.
Kalama River – 26 banks rods kept 1 Chinook adult and 1 steelhead. 4 boats/9 rods kept 5 Chinook adults and 1 jack.
Lewis River – 27 bank anglers kept 1 Chinook adult and 1 jack. 10 boats/24 rods kept 7 Chinook adults and 2 jacks.
Wind River – 5 bank rods had no catch. 5 boats/12 rods kept 1 Chinook adult.
Drano Lake – 4 bank rods and no catch. 30 boats/70 rods kept 7 Chinook adults.
Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge – No report.
