SW WA, Lower Columbia Fishing Report (10-25-21)

THE FOLLOWING FISHING REPORT WAS FORWARDED BY BRYANT SPELLMAN, WDFW

Mainstem Columbia River 

Salmon/Steelhead

Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 33 bank anglers kept two Chinook and 15 coho. 5 boats/12 rods kept three Chinook and five coho.

Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – 6 boats/12 rods kept two coho and released one coho.

MASON WEINHEIMER HELPED PUT THIS CATCH TOGETHER LAST OCTOBER ON THE COWLITZ RIVER. (FISHING PHOTO CONTEST)

Sec 3 (I-5 area) – No report.  

Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 8 boats/19 rods kept two coho and released four coho. 

Sec 5 (Woodland) – 13 boats/25 rods kept one Chinook, one Chinook jack, 16 coho and released five  coho. 

Sec 6 (Kalama) – No report. 

Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – No report. 

Sec 8 (Longview) – No report. 

Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – No report.  

Sec 10 (Cathlamet) – No report. 

Sturgeon: 

Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.  

Columbia River Tributaries 

Salmon/Steelhead

Cowlitz River I-5 Br downstream – No report.  

Cowlitz River Above the I-5 Br – No report. 

Kalama River – 14 bank rods kept one coho and released three Chinook and one steelhead. 1 boat/2  rods had no catch.  

Lewis River – 70 bank rods kept 13 coho, one coho jack and released one Chinook and seven coho. 2  boats/2 rods had no catch.  

Wind River – 3 boats/3 rods kept one coho. 

Drano Lake – Eight bank rods kept one Chinook. 5 boats/10 rods kept six Chinook, three coho, one coho  jack and released seven Chinook. 

Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge – 22 bank rods kept five coho and released two Chinook.

Klickitat River above #5 Fishway – No report.
