Nature Conservancy Transfers Vast Grant County Sage-Steppe Landscape To WDFW

The Nature Conservancy announces the official transfer of its 14-square-mile Beezley Hills Preserve to WDFW, “a significant milestone in the ongoing effort to protect and restore Washington’s imperiled shrub-steppe ecosystem and the endangered Columbia Basin pygmy rabbit,” and it will be open for hunting game species.
