Attendees will be briefed on the International Pacific Halibut Commission’s annual meeting and resulting Pacific halibut quotas. Staff will then take public input on the number and timing of “fixed” and “backup” dates for the Central Oregon Coast Subarea spring all-depth halibut season. The subarea runs from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain.

Materials that will be presented during the meeting will be available on the Sport Halibut webpage by the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 5. The page will also include a link to an online survey for those who can’t participate in the meeting and want to provide input.
