SW WA, Lower Willamette Fishing Report (5-11-26)

THE FOLLOWING FISHING REPORTS ORIGINATED WITH WDFW AND ODFW

Preliminary Washington Tributary Sport Summary – May 4-10, 2026

Salmon/Steelhead 

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge downstream) — 101 bank anglers kept one steelhead, and released one Chinook, one steelhead and one sturgeon. 1 boat/2 rods had no catch. 

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge upstream) — 18 bank anglers kept one Chinook. No boat effort reported. 

Kalama River — 44 bank anglers kept four Chinook and one jack. 31 boats/78 rods kept 12 Chinook and one jack. 

Lewis River — No bank or boat effort reported. 

Wind River — Eight bank anglers had no catch. 299 boats/1007 rods kept 335 Chinook, six jacks, one  steelhead and released six Chinook, one steelhead and one sturgeon.  

Drano Lake — 100 bank anglers kept 13 Chinook and released one Chinook. 168 boats/524 rods kept 438 Chinook and released one Chinook.  

Klickitat River (below Fisher Hill Bridge) — Two bank anglers had no catch. No boat effort reported.
