Mainstem Columbia River

Lower Columbia River, Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam — 223 salmonid boats and 187 Washington bank rods were tallied on the flight count Saturday, July 19.

Salmon/Steelhead
Section 1 (Bonneville) — 56 bank anglers kept one Chinook, one jack, two steelhead, one sockeye, and released 13 steelhead. 2 boats/6 rods released five steelhead.
Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — No bank effort reported. 16 boats/28 rods kept two Chinook, one steelhead, and released one steelhead and one sockeye.
Section 3 (I-5 Area) — 21 bank anglers released three steelhead. 2 boats/4 rods had no catch.
Section 4 (Vancouver) — 41 bank anglers released three steelhead. 7 boats/12 rods released two steelhead.
Section 5 (Woodland) — 38 bank anglers released three steelhead. 13 boats/21 rods kept one Chinook and released one steelhead.
Section 6 (Kalama) — 115 bank anglers kept three Chinook, one jack, six steelhead, released one Chinook and four steelhead. 2 boats/4 rods released one Chinook jack.
Section 7 (Cowlitz) — No bank effort reported. 2 boats/5 rods had no catch.
Section 8 (Longview) — 67 bank anglers kept six steelhead and released 12 steelhead. 7 boats/14 rods kept four steelhead and released three steelhead.
Section 9 (Cathlamet) — 26 bank anglers kept one steelhead. 14 boats/23 rods kept nine steelhead and released two steelhead.
Section 10 (Cathlamet) — Three bank anglers kept one steelhead. 5 boats/12 rods had no catch. Sturgeon
Section 4 (Vancouver) — 1 bank anglers had no catch.
Section 8 (Longview) — Two bank anglers released three sturgeon.

Kalama River — One bank angler had no catch. No boat effort reported.
Lewis River — 10 bank anglers kept one steelhead. 3 boats/4 rods had no catch.
