Washington Columbia River and Tributary Fishing Report June 22-28, 2020
Salmon/Steelhead:
Mainstem Lower Columbia River
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – Six bank anglers kept two sockeye and released one Chinook. 1 boat/2 rods released one Chinook.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – One bank angler had no catch. 4 boats/9 rods kept two sockeye and released one Chinook and one jack.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) – 14 bank anglers kept two sockeye, one steelhead and released two Chinook.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 40 bank anglers kept two sockeye. 4 boats/6 rods kept one sockeye.
Sec 6 (Kalama) – 18 bank anglers kept four sockeye, one steelhead and released one jack and one steelhead. 3 boats/9 rods kept five sockeye, two steelhead and released three Chinook and one jack.
Sec 8 (Longview) – Eight bank anglers kept 2 sockeye and one steelhead. 8 boats/20 rods kept 10 sockeye, four steelhead and released one jack and two steelhead.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – 45 bank anglers kept 10 sockeye, three steelhead and released two jacks and two steelhead.
Sturgeon:
Sec 8 (Longview) – 2 boats/4 rods had no catch.
Shad:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 17 bank anglers kept 31 shad. 2 boats/6 rods kept eight shad.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – Three bank anglers kept 12 shad.
Salmon/Steelhead:
Columbia River Tributaries
Cowlitz River – I-5 Br downstream – 14 bank rods had no catch.
Above the I-5 Br – 29 bank rods kept two steelhead. 22 boats/63 rods kept 30 steelhead and released two steelhead.
Kalama River – 46 bank anglers kept three steelhead. 6 boats/14 rods kept one steelhead.
Lewis River – 20 bank anglers kept one steelhead and released one Chinook. 4 boats/9 rods had no catch.
Wind River – Three bank anglers had no catch. 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.
Drano Lake – Three bank anglers had no catch. 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.
Klickitat below Fisher Hill Bridge – Two bank anglers had no catch.
Klickitat above #5 Fishway – Five bank anglers had no catch.
