Columbia River and Tributary Fishery Reports
Lower Columbia River, Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam – 224 salmonid boats and 68 Washington bank rods were tallied during Saturday’s (3/16) flight count.
Mainstem Columbia River
Salmon/Steelhead:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 10 bank anglers had no catch.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – 3 boats/5 rods had no catch.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) – 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 11 bank anglers had no catch. 14 boats/24 rods had no catch.
Sec 5 (Woodland) – 37 bank anglers had no catch. 13 boats/24 rods had no catch.
Sec 6 (Kalama) – 26 bank anglers had no catch. 9 boats/18 rods had no catch.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – 3 boats/9 rods had no catch.
Sec 8 (Longview) – 53 bank anglers had no catch. 17 boats/29 rods had no catch.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – No report.
Sec 10 (Cathlamet) – 2 boats/4 rods had no catch.
Walleye:
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – 1 boats/2 rods kept three walleye.
Columbia River Tributaries
Salmon/Steelhead:
Cowlitz River I-5 Br downstream – 67 bank rods kept one steelhead.
Cowlitz River Above the I-5 Br – 34 bank rods kept five steelhead. 26 boats/91 rods kept 53 steelhead and released three steelhead.
Kalama River – No report.
Lewis River – No report.
Wind River – No report.
Drano Lake – 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.
Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge – No report.
