Preliminary Washington Columbia River mainstem and tributary sport sampling summary September 27-Oct 3, 2021
Salmon/Steelhead:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – 26 bank anglers kept four Chinook and one Chinook jack. 8 boats/17 rods kept five Chinook and released one Chinook and one coho.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – 21 boats/43 rods kept six Chinook, three coho and released one Chinook jack.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) – 1 boat/3 rods had no catch.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 48 boats/101 rods kept 29 Chinook, five Chinook jacks, 11 coho, three coho jacks and released one Chinook, one Chinook jack, five coho and two coho jacks.
Sec 5 (Woodland) – 8 boats/20 rods kept 10 Chinook, one Chinook jack and seven coho.
Sec 6 (Kalama) – 26 bank anglers kept two Chinook and two coho. 3 boats/6 rods kept one coho.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – No report.
Sec 8 (Longview) – Four bank anglers had no catch. 14 boats/26 rods kept one coho and released one coho.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – No report.
Sec 10 (Cathlamet) – No report.
Sturgeon:
Sec 1 (Bonneville) – No report.
Sec 2 (Camas/Washougal) – No report.
Sec 3 (I-5 area) – No report.
Sec 4 (Vancouver) – 7 boats/18 rods released four sublegal sturgeon.
Sec 5 (Woodland) – No report.
Sec 6 (Kalama) – 5 boats/11 rods kept two legal sturgeon.
Sec 7 (Cowlitz) – No report.
Sec 8 (Longview) – 17 boats/38 rods released one sublegal sturgeon.
Sec 9 (Cathlamet) – 1 boat/2 rods had no catch.

Salmon/Steelhead:
Cowlitz River I-5 Br downstream – No report.
Cowlitz River Above the I-5 Br – No report.
Kalama River – Eight bank rods kept two Chinook jacks.
Lewis River – 18 bank rods kept one coho.
Wind River – One bank rod had no catch. 6 boats/17 rods kept two Chinook, 13 coho and released five coho.
Drano Lake – 4 boats/7 rods released one Chinook.
Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge – 15 bank rods kept two Chinook and two coho.
Klickitat River above #5 Fishway – Four bank rods had no catch.
