SW WA, Lower Columbia Fishing Report (10-27-25)

THE FOLLOWING FISHING REPORT ORIGINATED WITH WDFW

Preliminary Lower Columbia River and Washington Tributary Sport Summary – Oct 20-26, 2025

Mainstem Columbia River 

Lower Columbia River, Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam — Seven salmonid boats and three Washington bank rods were tallied on the boat effort count Saturday,  October 25.

Salmon/Steelhead 

Section 1 (Bonneville) — 43 bank anglers kept eight coho and released two Chinook. 5 boats/11 rods released two coho. 

Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — 18 boats/30 rods kept five coho and released five Chinook, one  Chinook jack and two coho.  

Section 3 (I-5 Area) — No effort reported.  

Section 4 (Vancouver) — 8 boats/15 rods kept 10 coho. 

Section 5 (Woodland) — Four bank anglers had no catch. 5 boats/9 rods kept four coho and  released one coho.  

Section 6 (Kalama) — 11 bank anglers had no catch. 4 boats/9 rods kept six coho.

Section 7 (Cowlitz) — No effort reported. 

Section 8 (Longview) — Four bank anglers had no catch. 2 boats/5 rods kept one coho and released one coho. 

Section 9 (Cathlamet) — 1 boat/1 rod released one coho. 

Section 10 (Cathlamet) — No effort reported. 

Columbia River Tributaries 

Salmon/Steelhead 

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge downstream) — 29 bank anglers kept four coho, three coho jacks and  released nine Chinook and three coho. 

Cowlitz River (I-5 Bridge upstream) — 10 bank anglers kept two coho, one steelhead and released  two Chinook and one coho.  

Kalama River — Eight bank anglers kept one coho. 1 boat/2 rods had no catch. 

Lewis River — 78 bank anglers kept one Chinook, seven coho, one coho jack and released one Chinook and 14 coho. 9 boats/15 rods kept two Chinook, five coho and released two coho.  

Wind River — One bank angler had no catch. 26 boats/54 rods kept 61 coho and released six coho. 

Drano Lake — 27 bank anglers kept one coho and released 16 Chinook, seven coho and three steelhead. 11 boats/26 rods kept six Chinook, one Chinook jack, four coho and released six Chinook and 13 coho. 

Klickitat River (below Fisher Hill Bridge) — 103 bank anglers kept 10 Chinook, 77 coho, four coho  jacks and released 22 coho and one steelhead.  

Klickitat River (above# 5 fishway) — Five bank anglers had no catch.
