SW WA Fishing Report (5-9-22)

Fishery Reports: 

Columbia River Tributaries 

Salmon/Steelhead

Cowlitz River I-5 Br downstream – 22 bank rods released one Chinook. 

Cowlitz River Above the I-5 Br – 14 bank rods released one Chinook. 

DRANO LAKE REMAINS PRODUCTIVE FOR SPRINGERS, WITH LOREN BENSON PICKING UP A COUPLE THERE IN RECENT WEEKS. (COAST FISHING PHOTO CONTEST)

Kalama River – 47 bank rods kept two Chinook. 24 boats/59 rods kept 19 Chinook and released four Chinook and two steelhead. 

Lewis River – Two bank rods had no catch. 

Wind River – 59 bank rods kept 11 Chinook and released two Chinook. 339 boats/1,156 rods kept 426 Chinook, six jacks and released 23 Chinook and three jacks.

Drano Lake – 72 bank rods kept 19 Chinook and two jacks. 357 boats/1,189 rods kept 462 Chinook, six  jacks and released 29 Chinook and one jack. 

Klickitat River below Fisher Hill Bridge – 24 bank rods kept four Chinook and released one steelhead.
