Fishery Reports: 

Steelhead: 

Bonneville Pool – No report. 

The Dalles Pool – No report. 

John Day Pool – 1 boat/3 rods kept one steelhead and released one steelhead. 

Sturgeon: 

Walleye: 

Bonneville Pool – No report. 

The Dalles Pool – No report. 

John Day Pool – 26 boats/59 rods kept 121 walleye and released 12 walleye. 

JERRY HAN HOLDS A NICE MID-COLUMBIA WALLEYE HE CAUGHT WHILE FISHING BY HIMSELF RECENTLY. HE REPORTS “REALLY SLOWWWW” ANGLING BUT THE CHANCE TO CATCH A TROPHY KEEPS HIM AND OTHER FISHERMEN GOING. (FISHING PHOTO CONTEST)

Salmon/Steelhead: 

Columbia River Tributaries 

Cowlitz River – I-5 Br downstream – 24 bank rods kept one steelhead and released one steelhead.  

Above the I-5 Br – 30 bank rods had no catch. 11 boats/31 rods kept five steelhead and released two  cutthroat.
