THE FOLLOWING FISHING REPORT WAS FORWARDED BY TODD MILLER, WDFW
The Hanford Reach fall salmon sport fishery has started off to a slow start. Fish numbers over McNary have just picked up this week and should continue in good numbers.

Normally, this would be the date of the first Reach run update. Due to fish passage being hampered, most likely due to water temperature at some facilities. I plan to update the Reach run next week. WDFW staff interviewed anglers from 117 boats (1,483 anglers) with 53 adult Chinook. Based on sampling, an estimated 226 adult Chinook were harvested from 6,778 angler trips (552 boats).
