2026 West Coast Ocean Salmon Recommendations Adopted
A West Coast ocean salmon fishing council has adopted recommended frameworks and quotas for seasons off Northwest, and this summer will see slightly more Chinook and coho in the quota than last year off Washington and Oregon north of Cape Falcon and a continuous king season south of Cape Falcon with 47,600 summer hatchery coho quota and 27,500 September any-coho quota. The recommendations now go to NMFS for approval.
