Limited Orcas Island Deer Hunting Proposal Subject Of Upcoming Meeting
A March 23 evening meeting will go over a proposal to open select areas of two preserves on Orcas Island to state and tribal deer hunting “to bring deer populations into better balance and maintain an important cultural connection to the land.”
