Troopers Ask For Info On 3 Elk Wasted In Northcentral Oregon

Three elk killed and left wholly or partially to waste in Northcentral Oregon the past two months have state wildlife troopers asking the public for tips to help solve the cases, according to news releases out today.

Just as was previewed earlier this week, there will be more boat angling opportunities on the Washington Coast this winter steelhead season, but the Grays Harbor system will be closed to all fishing as of Friday, December 1 – though perhaps only temporarily as WDFW meets with tribal comanagers to try and come to an agreement about hatchery-directed fisheries on four rivers there.
Groups Again Appeal To Inslee Over Commission Wolf-Livestock Decision

Pro-wolf groups are yet again appealing to Washington Governor Jay Inslee to order WDFW to begin rulemaking around “enforceable” wolf-livestock conflict management standards after the state Fish and Wildlife Commission declined to do so in late October.
