The blackmouth season in Marine Area 10 off Seattle, which was paused last month, will not reopen, WDFW announced this morning, because “test fisheries … indicate that any opening of the salmon fishery at current mark rates would exceed the unmarked encounter limit,” which was already 98 percent to the quota.
