CWD Testing Finds 15 More Idaho Cases In 2022, All In Same Area
After discovering chronic wasting disease in central Idaho in fall 2021, testing last year found 15 more cases, all in whitetail and mule deer in the same basin south of Lewiston, yielding a prevalence rate as high as 10 percent at the core of the outbreak of the always-fatal condition.
