Former WDFW Commissioner Honored With National Conservation Award
A North-central Washington lifelong hunter, conservationist and former state Fish and Wildlife Commission member has been honored with a prestigious national award for an individual.
Wynoochee, Satsop Habitat Work Will Restrict Access On 2 Sections Through Summer
Starting this month, construction will begin to restore habitat in sections of the Satsop and Wynoochee rivers to benefit salmon and other aquatic species. Work will take place on state owned aquatic lands managed by the Department of Natural Resources and private lands in partnership with willing landowners.
