Three wolves in a North-central Washington pack confirmed last fall have been captured and collared this week.
WDFW’s Donny Martorello reports they were two females — a yearling and the breeding female — and a male, all from the Loup Loup Pack.
They were captured on Tuesday, Wednesday and today, he reported.
The pack roams the mountains between Twisp and Omak, around the summit and ski area of the same name. At the end of last year there were six in the group.
Earlier this month, WDFW captured and collared the Tucannon Pack’s alpha female, which died five days later, probably from an infection.
