Walla Walla Corps’ Sutlick To Retire

Longtime Army Corps of Engineers wildlife biologist Al Sutlick announced today that he will retire in mid-December.

Working out of the Corps’ Walla Walla office, he’s been a key contact for outdoor reporters and hunters inquiring about public access to federal’ lands along the Snake River and elsewhere in Southeast Washington.

In a brief email to coworkers, employees of other government agencies and a few reporters, he said that he will have worked 36 years, 8 months and 15 days as of his last day, December 14.

He says that he plans to continue to be involved in wildlife and invasive species work, right after he gets done with some home remodeling projects.
