Rodgers Fishing Lodge is located in a wilderness setting on the west coast of Vancouver Island in Esperanza Inlet, about 70 miles due west of Campbell River, B.C.
This past spring and summer, there were black bear on the beaches near the lodge every day. The area also has one of the largest colonies of sea otters on the coast, and the gray whales pass by on their way to and from the Bering Sea. One day, 15 majestic bald eagles were counted nearby.
