(WOOLDRIDGE BOATS PRESS RELEASE)
When it comes to successful fishing and on-the-water fun, a boat and modern marine electronics are a couple of musts for most folks.
Northwest sportsmen can get the best of both worlds closer to home as Wooldridge Boats announces that Portland Marine Electronics is the newest Wooldridge dealer in the region.
Todd Carver of Portland Marine Electronics is an ardent angler and boater and a master when it comes to marine electronics. Folks who want the best in installation and performance look to PME for marine electronics, be they on big boats or little boats, prop boats or jet boats.
Todd holds to the same high standards in boats as he does marine electronics, so Wooldridge Boats was a natural fit when Carver decided to establish a top-quality aluminum boat dealership within his operation.
“Wooldridge offers a tremendous range of boats, from the fully featured 29-foot SS Pilothouse to the nimble 17-foot Alaskan outboard jet model that is recognized for ultra-shallow running and superior maneuverability on challenging waterways. There are lots of models in-between, to suit individual needs of those looking for offshore and river adventures,” Carver said.
“Wooldridge is a four-generation company, established in 1915 and their credentials are impeccable,” Carver added. “This is an exciting opportunity. I’m eager to represent the Wooldridge line and meet and greet new customers. I’m always eager to share fishing know how, as well!”
Glen Wooldridge, president of Wooldridge Boats, and his son, Grant, vice president, share the enthusiasm.
“We’ve worked with Todd for many years. He’s done marine electronic installations and upgrades for many of our boat customers and they consider him ‘the best!’”
Carver is building an inventory of Wooldridge Boats at his shop, at 12125 SE Highway 212 in Clackamas. His inventory includes the 20-foot AK XL and 20-foot Offshore Pilot. Of course he can supply customers with any of the Wooldridge Boats in their extensive lineup.
You can call Carver at his Portland Marine Electronics facility at (503) 922-3259 or visit him on the web at www.pdxmarine.com.
Hawg Quest is no stranger to Portland Marine Electronics and Carver, as well. Followers of Glenn Hall and his adventures featured on the weekly TV show have seen PME and Carver and in action. A recent show featured Wooldridge Boat’s Danny Cook and his 23-foot AK XL hosting Hall and Carver on the Cowlitz River.
