Sea-Raider: Quality And Strength By Design

The Sea-Raider 26-footer with 96-inch bottom cuddy (or 2896 model) has a ¼-inch bottom and is 96 inches wide with 38-inch high sides with an extended bottom. The Sea-Raider is a very stable, seaworthy boat for off-shore fishing for tuna, but any fisherman would be happy with the performance of the Sea-Raider.

The Sea-Raider model can be built as an open bow hardtop or as a pilot house “Cuddy” shown below.

SEA-RAIDER 26'

There are many options such as a marine head, side sleeper seats, two different cook or heating systems available in the galley with a combination dinette, ice box or fridge.

The fuel tank has been moved back and the lifting strakes have been extended forward to make the boat dryer running.

The Sea-Raider line of boats are built to withstand commercial use; they have five or seven longitudinal strings welded to the bottom then to the floor support structure is welded in; the floor support and stringers are then connected by gussets that are welded to the bottom and the floor support. There are Sea-Raider models in Alaska that have been in use for 12-plus years and have made 130 to 150 trips per year without any problems (personal use as well as guide boats).

Boat Review: SeaHawk Series “Offshore” by RiverHawk

As a lifelong boating enthusiast and a professional in the sport fishing industry, I have witnessed firsthand, the all new SeaHawk series “Offshore” by River Hawk Boats. With absolute confidence, this is the best offshore boat available today for Pacific Northwest marine conditions.

The boat handles like a dream, with the 84-inch reverse-chine hull offering extreme stability and a Cadillac ride in rough water conditions. The steep bow entry slices through ocean conditions for long-range fishing trips including albacore tuna, halibut, salmon and crab. This boat will withstand the test in all conditions, within the margin of safety.

The SeaHawk “Offshore” is configured with incredible storage, huge fish boxes, an overhanging roof which is wonderful in Northwest weather conditions and an efficient fishing deck for all anglers. I predict this boat will become a quick favorite for fishing guides, charter skippers and tournament anglers — not to omit the pleasure craft cruising clientele. After all, it is hard to be THE contender in the aluminum boat industry if your boat is not up to contemporary world-class standards.

From function, to form, to quality and class, the SeaHawk “OFFSHORE” series by RiverHawk Boats is the answer to serious saltwater boaters.
